Why Culture Story Exists

Culture Story was created to explore identity, belonging, and Indigenous life in the modern world through storytelling.

For generations, Indigenous people have often been represented through history, stereotype, or invisibility rather than as contemporary people living complex, evolving lives. Culture Story exists to help bridge that gap — creating space for stories rooted in culture while also reflecting the realities of who we are today.

Through media, writing, education, art, and conversation, the platform explores the relationship between heritage and modern life, helping translate Indigenous perspectives across communities, industries, and audiences.
